Can I bring family and friends with me?

Yes. We encourage you to bring as many people as you would like! We encourage them to bring signs and banners to support you.

When it is time for your audition, minors will be allowed to have one parent or guardian join them in the audition room.

However supporters who are 18 and older will not be allowed in the audition room unless they are part of your act or helping load equipment.  All of your supporters will remain in the holding area and you will be able to meet up with them when your audition is over.

Whether you are a contestant, friend, or family member EVERYONE will be required to present a photo ID in order to enter the audition venue.

Minors CONTESTANTS AND GUESTS without a driver's license may use a school ID
or acceptable substitute (such as a yearbook page that includes a printed name with photo
AND a birth certificate matching the name).  If the minor is too young to have any form
of photo ID, then that minor's parent or guardian should present a photo ID and the
child's birth certificate that includes the parent's name with the child's name on the
certificate.  For the complete minor information CLICK HERE.

As a friend or family you will also have to sign a personal release.  CLICK HERE to download a copy to bring with you to the audition.

EVERYONE under the age of 18 must have permission from their parents or
legal guardian to be at the auditions AND must be accompanied by one parent or
guardian.  If the parents or legal guardian is unable to attend and is allowing the minor to
attend the audition under the supervision of a third-party (such as a coach), you must do
two things:

1) Download and complete the Guardianship and Medical Authorization for Minors form
from the "paperwork" section of AGTauditions.com and get it NOTARIZED by a notary
public (typically at banks or mailing stores, or search your local directory) and bring it
with you on the day of your audition.

2) The parent or guardian must designate the third-party specifically on the Personal
Release
, with a special signature by the parents or legal guardian and the third-party (see
page 4 of the Personal Release).
